About this Guy
Hockey player by day, writer by night. Besides beginning to sound like build up to the worst superhero of all time, I did manage to contract writing powers after being bitten by a radioactive author. In my off time, I can usually be found captaining my house boat up and down the Willamette. I’m a hockey player for the Portland Winterhawks, but not a fan of the jock stereotypes that sometimes come with it. In the dark of the night, I try and break them. So far, I think I’m doing a pretty good job.
I’m a big fan of movies, I like to go on tangents and become very interested in random subjects at random time. Right now, medicine seems interesting, not sure what it’ll be in a week. And for now, as long as the cogs keep spinning, I’ll keep doing my best to entertain.
TP out

Good job! Also wanted to let you know that your blog theme looks great on the iPad!
Great writing
Hi TP, I haven’t had the privilege of meeting you in person, but I’ve seen your talent on the ice. I’m learning that you are a great hockey player, that you seem to be a well-rounded mature young man, that you value life (congrats to you and your brother for helping the kayakers), and now I’m discovering that you are a talented writer. Thanks for giving fans, family, friends, readers, and the curious an opportunity to be a part of the world of TP and get to know you a bit. I’m just one opinion, but you are an interesting person and I like that. I’m just a fan and a fellow human being, but I admire and respect people who pursue their passions, enjoy life, care about people, and are successful at balancing the serious and not so serious things in life. I don’t know where your various talents will take you in life or what your dreams are, but my advice (not that you asked) is to stay the course, keep learning and growing, and keep embracing and celebrating life in the creative and authentic ways you are doing. Hockey, the kayaking incident, the news coverage, plus your blog are all catalysts for the attention you’re receiving at this stage of your life, but ultimately it’s your personality, your talents, and the way you conduct yourself that will shine through each and every aspect of your life so much so that people notice and are positively impacted by someone like you. Thanks for brightening my world and for making me smile. Susan
